​GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math and Science) has one mission.  Our  mission is to recruit girls of all ages into to Engineering, Math, Science, and STEM fields.  Women are vastly under represented in these areas and we (GEMS) want to change that.  We are hosting a GEMS-LA Promise Showcase night on April 29th from 5:30-6:30 pm.  We are inviting local K-12 girls to see our BEST and SeaPerch robots, asking experienced women in STEM how they got became successful, and experiencing hands on engineering activities.  It should be a really fun night--GO GEMS!!
